One simple idea
A child's education, health and dignity should not depend on the family they are born into. We work in Delhi to make that true for more children.
Who we are
Shivansh Vaishnavi Special People Foundation (SVSPF) is a not-for-profit organisation based in New Delhi, working in health, education and social services.
We serve underprivileged children, persons with disabilities, women, senior citizens and economically weaker families. We teach, mentor, train and care, and we bring relief when families need it most.
Our volunteers include students, teachers, working professionals and retirees who give their time because they believe every child deserves a fair start.
Our journey
Grassroots work
Classes on a mat in the park
Volunteers teach and read with children from nearby communities in parks, halls and lanes, and run food, clothing and hygiene drives for needy families.
A foundation is formed
From volunteers to an organisation
The Foundation was set up as a not-for-profit organisation to grow this work in health, education and social services.
Today
Six focus areas
Education, special education and disability support, yoga and life skills, skill training, health education, and social services and relief.
Our mission
To give underprivileged children and persons with disabilities access to education, special education, health care and skills, from school to professional level, and to support needy families through social services.
Our vision
Over time, to set up schools, special education schools, healthcare facilities and industrial training centres for self-employment, working with volunteers, educational institutions, healthcare professionals, government agencies and philanthropic organisations.
